Food is at the heart of the Precinct Hotel. Superb fare which blends the best of cuisines; tradition with a masterful modern twist.
Head Chef Pat Ortuso says his produce-driven menu and love of home-style cooking infused with contemporary ideas are inspired by a childhood spent helping his Italian parents run the family farm and fruit & veggie shop.
"We literally lived off the land. We always ate the freshest and best," he says. "Peaches and figs for breakfast. Wood fire always burning, ready to bake bread or grill lunch. For dinner, crispy salads with fresh trout or yabbies. It meant endless work for me and my brothers but, for me, it became my passion."
Dine inside or out: dine outside in the Precinct Courtyard or dine inside in the dining room. Shot silk feature walls, leather banquettes, and original sculpture by Peter and Chelly Grey overlook the fireplace, making for a sumptuous dining experience matched by the menu.
