Melbourne footy fans need no introduction to the Darcy family, whose eminent association with AFL is nothing short of legendary.

Patriarch of the clan, David Darcy holds status as one of Footscray's best defenders, playing 133 games with the side and representing Victoria four times.

Youngest son Luke Darcy and recently retired captain of the Western Bulldogs is regarded as one of the teams' most successful ruckmen. With a distinguished career on the field, these days Luke is a nationally renowned sporting personality & commentator; and member of the AFL Rules Committee.

Outside of the goalposts the Darcy family has carved a highly successful career in hospitality, working across several well known establishments.

David, mum Janet, sons Matt and Luke and daughters Kim and Alysha have accumulated a feast of culinary and management expertise - and an extended family member in chef, Pat Ortuso.

After a long stint in SA, it was no surprise that the Darcy's would saunter back into Victoria and the old Depot in Richmond proved to be an ideal setting for their next venture.

It was the perfect canvas for a multi functional venue to cater for the diverse weather and tastes of Melbourne - and Pat Ortuso would add the colour of cuisine.
