In 1998 David Darcy was so impressed with the talent of the chef at Glenelg's well-known restaurant Lungomare, in Adelaide, that he enticed a young Pat Ortuso to come and work for him.....and the rest? Well the rest is just history...

At the very heart of the Precinct Hotel is a love of superb cuisine that infuses a perfect measure of culinary tradition and a dash of contemporary flair.

Designed to promote the fabulous flavours of seasonal produce, the menu is a masterful delight influenced by Head Chef Pat Ortuso's European background and agricultural know how.

The harvesting of Pat's visionary talent with the culinary skills of sous chefs, Sammy Phung and Caroline Kreischer is a truly palatable recipe.

At the Precinct Hotel, you can dine outside in the courtyard or indoors where shot silk feature walls, leather banquettes and an original Peter and Chelly Grey sculpture overlooks the fireplace.

A sumptuous dining environment, which is only enhanced by the menu.
